Sceptics
For a very long time, technical analysis was concidered hocus pocus, and not very serious. In fact, it is still sneered upon in certain places, mostly by older traders who "knows what it is all about and don't want to learn anything new".
Well, Jesse Livermore, probably the most succesful trader ever was quite technical...
I just want to share a quote of his here:

Quiet friday
Not much happened in terms of trading (on S&P500) this friday evening.
After a week of being thrown between hope and despair for Greece, the chinese, the US and the general Euro-zone, I guess the end of the week could have looked a lot worse.

Yay... another 20.
That might have sounded sarcastic, but it wasn't. 20 pips/day is all I need. Ever.
But the way the S&P skyrocketed this evening, I'm a bid sad I couldn't catch any more than 20 of the 180 pips it rocketed.
Well, no need to cry about trades not taken... nor the ones taken, btw.

It is a fine day when there is no nervousity involved at all. This was a great signal, and a quick trade.

Wow!
Amazing. Over 320 people have now read the soccer criteria. (This is a very unknown blog.)
I wish you luck with it and adds that it has worked for me for over a year.
The only problem is liquidity at times, but that is perhaps one of the main reasons some are going Forex.
I also find it easier to win at Forex than on soccer, so I've moved on. If you have time, have a look. You might like it.

Soccer criteria
Here are my criteria for soccer trading. It is the foundation for my LTD - on a high note, that I 'trialled' on FTS.
It has absolutely nothing to do with Forex, and can be ignored if you are not interested in soccer trading.

Well, back to the mill
I've been pretty slow in february so far.
The reason for this is twofold. The first is that I'm trying out a new system, and the second, but most important, is that I work when it is time to trade.
(Which is the reason I'm trying out a new system to begin with.)

Summing things up for january
Been a bit busy at work and also had some nasty stomach flu and was downed for a few days.
Well, all in all, with trading this evening system, I managed to scrape together 169 pips.
Pretty good for a months work.
Now, if every pip was £20 this would be something one could make a living with. :)
