Apart from the fact that I left my computer for about 2½ hours, this is exactly how trading should be... and what it should look like. 
I had my SL there, so there really was no worries... Except for a loss, but that was such a small loss had it been one.

Thursday

I was away, doing work-stuff. (Some days I really don't like my job.)
There was one trade today. I'm not sure if anyone in chat took it, since 1) I wasn't there, and 2) it took 4 candles to trigger.

Well, here it was anyway.

An unneccessary loss

Trading in the middle of Beige Book. Probably not a good idea. Better to wait.
But there was not much wrong with the signal, but one should be wary of the news.

End of August

The end of the third month is drawing near. 

Today I had a trade for the first time in quite a while. 
Actually I had two. The first one I closed at 6 pip win, for reasons discussed in chat. I noticed that it would have won, though... 

The second trade is the one I'm counting here. 22 pips on a HD bullish trade. 

It spiked for a few minutes, I closed it and then it dropped. It was late, so more than 22 was never an option, and I was happy. 

It was TWADJ again. Since work is pretty busy nowadays, I almost only have time for TWADJ. But that is good enough.

Friday

I was away for the first hour of friday's trading. And, of course, this excellent signal showed up.

Oil

Had an oil trade today.
It didn't work out.

Perhaps a tad big S/L, but I don't think so.
Too bad it came directly after 'level up'.
Ah, not to worry.

A positive feeling

I have an idea that this will be a very good autumn. 
There was a little more movement yesterday in the evening, and I can see that the market is coming back to normal. Slowly but surely. 

Today I also had three trades with TrendFX. 
1). It didn't start out so good, and bounced off a resistance going several days back. 
2). Well, the signal came for a System 2 (so I'm pointing it out), and I reentered, ignoring the strong resistance. And that was a good thing. It burst like a rubber band, and 85 pips was a fact.
3). During the same time, almost, Brent's Oil showed some movement. 

1. -20 pips, -1600 SEK

2. +85 pips, 6 800 SEK

3. +39 pips, 3120 SEK

It is time to level up. I now have 120 SEK/Pip.

It is still slow days...

... so the best we can do today is to remember that HP Lovecraft would have turned 122 today, had he lived, sit down with one of his books, Metallica in the CD player and perhaps a whiskey.

Friday

I was away doing nerdy and geeky stuff...

Then again, there were no trades there I would have taken today, even if the signal at 17:55 looked quite alright... It took until almost 21:00 before it came through, though...

No trades

There were no trades today. Well, there actually were three signals to trade by. Two winners and one loser, but the market was so slow, it wasn't worth the risk of entering any trades. At least, I didn't. 

(And neither did Cherkhan, so I guess he is getting his itchy trigger finger under control.) ;)

And to celebrate the day... another Elvis! With a suitable title! 

16 aug 1977...

... was the day that God decided he needed some Rock n' Roll in heaven. 
That's 35 years ago to the day. 

Oh, and it is summertime. Didn't have any trades on TWADJ yesterday, and there has been no TrendFX trades for me today either. 
Looking forward to the evening. 

A quickie

Just a quickie with an 'extra' TrendFX system. 

Went for a 1:1 RR but perhaps due to some delay, I actually fell 1 pip short. 
Still got 9 pips (excluding spread of course).

Just when I left for the jazz-festival, a trade appeared. I know some took it.

This evening

As with most evenings when I work late, there is a good trade at once. Thus, I didn't take this one. This was taken by the people in chat, though.

Slow

As you may or may not know, it is vacation time in the US now. The S&P500 market will be quiet for a week or two.
A good time to practice divergences and candles. :)
But not trading.

Trading with a day job

Perfect symmetry

To start off the week, I wanted a small trade. 1:1 Risk Reward. 
And this trade looked good. 
The perfect symmetry was about that I actually managed to put all my lines perfectly. (Yes, I'm happy about small things.)

Let's start August with 24 pips. 
(Well, I did have 14 yesterday, but anything below 20 doesn't count.)

(I'll continue this 'trial' for the month. Then we'll see what happens. Next time we level up is 80 000 SEK... if we get there.)

One small trade

I had one small trade today. Got 14 pips.


Have to make 20+ to count. 


There were some nice trading opportunities today, if only one stayed cool. I didn't. 

Closing for July

On June 1st I started a trading session to show you how I trade, when I trade and what I trade. :) 


After two months the results are surprisingly good. 


I started at 25 000 SEK (which is about £2500). Every time the BR increased 50% I recalculated so I kept the bet at a steady risk of 3%. 




25 000 SEK was turned in to 74 403 SEK. That's a 197,6% increase in two months and in 29 trades. 
It surprised me too. It's been two good months. 

One could probably make a prettier chart, 

but I suck at excel.
